Good afternoon!  It is a nasty day in Pensacola today.  I am sorry but with this rain and the puddles in the road we are not going to be able to get out to the beach for our afternoon update.  We live in Pensacola and drive out to the beach to do all of the updates and it’s just to dangerous to get out in this weather today.  It’s the first update we have missed since we have been up.  Looked at a bunch of webcams and as you know it’s hard to tell a lot from them but it looks around waist high with maybe a bigger set ever so often.  The winds are showing offshore at 11 mph but from what I am seeing it looks like a lot of closeouts.  If you want to fight the bad weather there is some surf to be had though.  Seas are showing 5 1/2 feet for tomorrow with really hard winds. Expect big choppy surf.  If you want to surf you may want to find a spot that is protected.  Looks like it will be chest to shoulder tomorrow.  We will give you a sunrise report for sure tomorrow morning.  Thanks for all of your support and I am sorry for the lack of pictures this afternoon.  Have a safe Saturday.
