Shades of Dave – the surfer Dave, the serious Dave and the fun loving Dave – a few occasions when Dave Skelton was in front of the lens instead of behind it.
Dave is sort of an unsung Pensacola Bch hero. His photos put Pensacola surfing on the map. His connections with the surf magazines and the surfing world brought surf movies and famous surfers to town. He helped keep us up to date for several years through Bucks Surf Shops that he owned. He travelled surfed and travelled extensively. He’s still traveling, but not surfing like he’d like to.
