Good Morning Surfers. It’s 72 degrees and rainy with a nasty squall coming thru (as of 6:30). We have strong ESE winds 15-20 with stronger gusts. The surf has built overnight with this low moving up towards Mobile. Surf is running chest to shoulder with head high peaks. It’s sloppy and running down the beach with this much wind, BUT the winds should back off and switch SW, and the weather should clear up in the next few hours. It will be better mid morning, on. We should have surf the next 3-4 days. The Yancy Memorial Surf Contest was pushed to next Saturday.
