Hank Cobia – April 1976 – Pensacola Beach
In addition to the image of Hank himself, I like how glassy the water is, how the pier pilings reflect off the water and bend as the water is being pulled up the wave. I also love the lack of buildings on the beach, and the fact that so many people are just hanging out on the pier watching the surfers. The pier was probably closed, but wide open for anyone who wanted to walk out on it.
