This is Ben Fairey at “The Bay” when it was at its best – 1973ish. Ben was part of the Greg Noll / Blue Cheer / Innerlight crew. He’s riding a Hank Warner shaped, single fin AGP. I believe he’s now a boat captain in Orange Beach.
Surfing wasn’t necessarily better back then, but the Point and The Bay definitely were!
