I’m not sure why, but I can remember the first time I saw Mike Bredesen. I was a teenager surfing the west side of the old pier in the early 70’s. There was a “new guy” out who was tall, lanky, and had super long blonde hair. He kept squatting into these little waist high right tubes, kind of like the one pictured here.
