This looks like it was taken on the west side of the Pensacola Beach Pier. If so, that’s the old Sharks Head Inn in the background to the right, and the Five Flags Inn to the left. Neither exist today. For awhile the Sharks Head sat there abandoned – hard to imagine now, with today’s real estate values.
Geesh, now that I think about it, nothing in this picture is still there, including Harry – just the waves and sand remain, along with a few new motels.
