Most surfers have to eventually move to a longer board. Dave Skelton had back surgery in 2000. He made the switch shortly afterwards.
Longboard or shortboard, positioning is the key. Dave shows great positioning while surfing Costa Rica in 2001.
With his photos Dave put Pensacola Bch surfing on the map in the 1970’s. He also owned Buck’s Surf Shops for several years.
