I’ve wondered how many famous surfers have visited our humble beach town. I suspect there are more than I realize. A few that come to mind are Mike Purpus, David Nuuhiwa, Skip Frye, Gary Keating, Mike Tabeling, Kelly Slater, Tom Carroll, Tom Curren, Richard Cram, Shaun Tomson, Rory Russell, Nat Young, Bob Cooper, Claude Codgen, Dale Dobson, Hank Warner, Tim Curran, Rich Rudolf, Joey Buran, Dan Malloy, Bob Hurley and Mark Foo.
