Russell Nolan took this water shot of Yancy III. I bet this was taken in ’81 or ’82. He is wearing Instinct board shorts, which he was repping for at the time. Also, his Hawaiian wetsuit top was popular during that era. Pretty sure he’s riding a self shaped twin fin. Notice the building in the background. It was first the Galatea Inn, then the Holiday Inn, and has disappeared to make room for the much nicer Margaritaville Hotel, which is now the Pensacola Beach Resort.
