These days JB is an owner/manager of Innerlight Surf Shops, plus he’s soon to be the mayor of Gulf Breeze in November! I have a little sticker company called “Big Yellow Dot”. Sadly, Mark passed away surfing Mavericks in the mid 90’s, and Mike died of cancer around 1986.
Mark and Mike are gone. JB and I sometimes look at each other and wonder “who’s next?”…
Not sure who took the photo. It’s possible Bert Pittman did, since he was a high school staff photographer at that time.
