This photo of Freddy Esposito and Yancy III was taken at the Paved Wave Skate Park on Navy Blvd 47 years before they opened the brand new Blake Doyle Skate Park in Pensacola – (incredible job done by Jon Shell!).
The photo ended up in the News Journal in 1975. I think they asked Freddy and YS to “do something” – so they did this, and it made the paper. Yancy wasn’t much of a touchy-feely kind of guy, so I think he was happy once the photographer was done.😀
