Greg Noll Team Rider, Scott Shepard, checking out a prototype of Yancy Spencer’s first ever Surfboard model – the Greg Noll Seeker. It took a few samples to get it right. Actually, the boards had a ton of nose rocker, which wasn’t ideal, but it officially made Yancy a professional surfer back in 1969/1970. He was paid a royalty for every board sold.
