Ken started surfing a bit before his friend Yancy Spencer – sometime around 1965. I believe Yancy borrowed Ken’s board for his first surf. Ken and Yancy were partners in the Greg Noll Surf Shop in Gulf Breeze 50 years ago, a few years before it became Innerlight Surf Shop.
Yancy passed away in 2011, Ken in 2017.
