It was HUGE to be a high school grom back in 1971ish and see what I considered to be some of my favorite local surf stars featured in a half-page Surfer Magazine ad! Look closely and you’ll see Yancy Spencer III, Robin Martin, Buddy Capel, Brad English, and Ken Roose.
This was a few years before Yancy partnered up with Hank Warner to start AGP and H. Warner Surfboards. This was also shortly before Yancy finally changed the shop name to Innerlight.
