Good morning! Last night county commissioners voted on re-opening the beaches for surfing, it was a 4-1 vote to keep them closed. This comes after Gov. DeSantis issued a safer at home order for the next 30 days. So we won’t be able to surf for the next 30 days or until they vote on the issue again. Today’s surf forecast; air temp is 66 degrees and the water temp is 70 degrees. Low tide was at 3:04 am and high tide is at 5:03 pm. The wind is offshore at 3 mph out of the NNE causing extremely glassy conditions on the water. The surf is flat, not much surf forecasted for the next week or so.
