Good morning surfers! Today the Surf looks a little smaller than yesterday evening. Waist to chest high waves are on tap for the Waterboyz Winter Classic Surf Contest. You can sign up right on the beach if you still want to join the contest. The wind is blowing from the East Northeast at around 10 mph causing some sideshore chop and drift. There are 7 ft waves on the Pensacola buoy, but the swell has a slight Northerly component so I don’t know that it will build like yesterday. The tide was high at 4:35 am and will be low around 2:40 this afternoon. The water is around 72 F so a spring suit or neoprene top might be a good call for today if you are cold natured like me. Have a great day!
