Hi surfers! It is a pretty Fathers Day Afternoon at Pensacola Beach. The wind is blowing out of the Southsouthwest at 10-15 mph causing for choppy conditions in the Gulf of Mexico. I see a few small knee high waves breaking right now if you are itching to get in the water with your new Fathers Day sleds. The storm in the Caribbean is slowly gathering strength still and some swell is expected Late Monday with overhead waves Tuesday and Wednesday. Only time will tell if local wind conditions will be favorable for our beaches. Go get you a bucket of KFC to sacrifice or a rosary and say a few prayers for safety and good waves.
