Good afternoon! It is a beautiful day out here on Pensacola Beach. The surf is flat. The winds are coming out of the WSW at 12-14 mph causing for some texture. This is the most movement I have seen from the Gulf in days. The gnarly west winds over the next few days may make some little waves to the east of the pier. We will keep our eyes on any kind of rideable bump. There are reports of jellyfish. The water is really murky right at the shoreline and I imagine that’s where all the jellies are.
