Good morning!  It is a windy start to the morning out here on Pensacola Beach.  The surf is up.  The winds are coming out of the S at 14 mph causing for choppy conditions.  The surf is only knee to thigh high and the form is poor.  The waves are pretty disorganized at the pier.  The tide will be coming in until 11:05 this afternoon and then will be going out the rest of our daylight hours.  The winds are supposed to stay like this pretty much all day.  They are supposed to switch out of the SE and maybe the swell direction will be better.  This straight South swell isn’t doing the pier an favors.
