Good afternoon!  It is a rainy day here on Pensacola Beach, wait no it’s not, yup it’s rainy…wait.  It really is scattered thunderstorms today.  Some of the rain that comes through is quiet and light then it gets to thundering and nastiness.  It is hit and miss with the rain wherever you go in Pensacola and Gulf Breeze today.  There is a little surf that is trying to push through on these new bars.  Of course the pier is picking up most of the swell but I am pretty sure there are other places that are catching it too.  It is knee high and kind of coming through all at once.  It isn’t breaking very far, so it is a great wave to teach someone on or to SUP (stand up paddleboard) on. The winds are out of the SE at 10-11 mph causing for a chop on the surface of the Gulf of Mexico.  I will have an evening report for you later!
