Good morning surfers! The waves are bigger this morning and the storms are more fierce. There is Rain and lightning and chest to head high Surf on Pensacola Beach. The rains don’t look like they will let up anytime soon, but the lightning is mostly offshore. It is close enough to be a threat, so you may want to hold off on your session for now. The wind is Southeast from 5 to 10 mph causing for some chop. The tide was low at 6:13 am and will be high at 7:47 pm. I don’t know if these storms will affect the Mardi Gras parade, but be prepared to wait in traffic if you head out to the beach. It might be a perfect day to hang out at Waterboyz for brunch at the Single Fin Cafe and chill out to the soothing crooning of Jonathan Puzan. Have a great day!
