Wednesday Sunrise Beach and Surf Report 01/04/17

Good morning. It’s a beautiful morning out here on Pensacola Beach. The surf is still up. It’s running knee to thigh high with bigger sets coming through. The winds are coming out of the North at 11-13 mph and gusting up to 20 mph. It’s a Neap tide today so there will be no real change in the tides. The air temperature is 55°.

With a heavy heart, we face today. Yesterday our friend and mentor, John Russell, passed away. He is not sick anymore, but our hearts go out to his family who is hurting right now. We love you guys.
