Happy Valentine’s Day! I loathe this holiday….and I am a chick! Hahaha. The gray skies and flat surf doesn’t do much to help my opinion of this holiday. I do get to remember Yancy III today. I have found myself talking a lot about him these past few weeks. It seems we all miss him. He was always good to me and my family. I still have the watch he gave me at the last Matt Martin Memorial Contest because mine broke. I ended up getting first in my division that day. I also have a pair of booties he dug out of his van one winter because he was worried about my nekked feet. So instead of hating on Valentine’s Day, I get to smile in remembrance of a good man that is living the life in heaven! Miss you YS3.
Oh yeah surf is basically flat…only shin high lines breaking on the beach. The winds are still offshore. The temp on the beach is 47 degrees brrrrrrr. Have a great day!
