This report is live from Yancy’s Spot, between the pier and the pavilion.
The wind is strong and chilly out of the southeast. It’s a beautiful day, with clear blue skies and big puffy clouds. The surf is thigh high and building. On the west side of the pier there is one guy out catching some waist high sets.
It should only get bigger this afternoon.
