Good afternoon! It is a blustery day out here on Pensacola Beach.  The winds are hard out of the SW at 16-17 mph causing for choppy, sloppy conditions.  The swell is still holding strong in the waist high range.  It’s sloppy but it really does have some size on it when it comes through.  Your length of ride will be short most of the time, but if you are desperate for some peaky, bigger than knee high surf…I’d say go out.  There was a big thunderstorm coming on to the beach as I was leaving.  It was rumbling out some serious thunder.  The Pier looked the best.  The Cross looked like it cleaned up a little bit from this morning, but I just can’t muster up enough stoke to fight the walk into the wind with my longboard. You have a great Friday evening and we will have you a dawn patrol report in the morning!!
