Good afternoon! The surf is up here on Pensacola Beach! It is running waist high with sometimes bigger waves coming through. The wind is 10-11 mph out of the SW causing for choppy conditions but it does look fun. The Cross is a longboard fest. The guys are scrunched up together on the mid-break but there are rides to be had. We still have a few more hours of daylight left, so go surf. The Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier was deserted. I think everyone blew the dust of their longboards and went to the Cross. 18th still had that mellow, mushy wave that was perfect for beginners. I had a report from a gal that surfed to the east and said it was super fun!! Thanks for checking us and as ALWAYS we will have you a dawn patrol report up no matter what the conditions are!
